The location was absolutely perfect as for me, close enough to restaurants and shopping and nice Cafe. The staff were helpful and outstandingly friendly and were around whole time. Stayed in beautifully maintained studio suite with modern decor.

Nice Stay at the Carramar
During my recent visit to Palmerston North, I was eager to explore the stunning Victoria Esplanade, known for its beautiful gardens and serene walkways. I chose the Carramar for its ideal proximity to this exquisite landmark and the hospital, as I was visiting a friend. To my pleasant surprise, the complimentary wireless Internet access made it easy to plan my day and stay connected. The full breakfast served from 7:00 AM was another good experience;
Despite my husband’s previous positive experience, our current room had a lingering stale smoke smell.

Very clean. Good essential facility.
No kitchenette facility, not even a toaster. Only coffee and tea making facility.

The rooms were neat and updated, were equipped with modern decor, a heater and the spa bath.
Some of the staff were pushy.

This made my early morning appointment much easier, eliminating the need for a long drive. The apartment was reasonably clean, and I appreciated the proximity to essential services during my visit.
Old and poorly maintained unit. 😕.

Pleasant Stay in Palmerston North
I was eager to visit Te Manawa, intrigued by its rich cultural offerings and exhibitions, which made staying at the Carramar a logical choice. The hotel's proximity to this landmark was a major draw, and I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wireless internet access that made planning my visit seamless. the onsite cafe provided a good full breakfast starting at 7:00 AM, perfect for fueling my day of exploration. The quiet atmosphere allowed for a relaxing retreat after my outings, enhancing my overall experience.
Iron was broken. When I asked for a replacement, I felt like I was being accused of breaking it.

It was very handy to the location of a function we were going to. Parking was very good. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and so was the pillow which many motels scrimp on. No complaints for the money.
The shower head in the shower had been broken and was fixed with a temporary fix, the shower worked fine though but it looked like it needed more attention.

location: the hotel was close to a cafe as part of the premises which did an excellent breakfast, the facilities on the block of the birthing centre, and stores. there was an attached restaurant nearby. we had neat, new-fashioned room, appreciated the location, it was excellent on a concrete slab so disappointed since everything else was fantastic.

My recent stay at Carramar Motor Inn was surprisingly pleasant given the circumstances. Conveniently located right across from Palmerston North hospital, it offered a range of units to fit various budgets. I chose a modern studio with a spacious bathroom, including a bath, which was a lovely touch for relaxation.

Very quiet and little traffic noise, rooms clean and tidy cafe/restaurant on site.
Could have been cereal bowls in the units - no cooking allowed but cold cereal bowls would have been nice. The tiny corner shower in a huge bathroom - every time you turned in the shower you knocked the lever that turned the water off.

Carramar Motor Inn suited us as it is very handy and close to an elderly relative I have living in Ruahine Street.
It would have been nice if the restuarant was available at the weekend but not a complaint.

I had a pretty good stay! The staff were super friendly and accommodating, making everything easy right from check-in. The location is fantastic too, being really close to the hospital and several restaurants, which is handy. My room was comfortable with a cozy bed and a large TV to wind down in the evening. Plus, the Wi-Fi was solid for my late-night browsing!
The decor in the room felt a bit outdated, and some facilities like the heaters weren’t working initially. Although the management quickly provided standalone units, it would have been nice if everything was perfect upon arrival.

Having a cafe on site for dinner and breakfast. Room space spacious, bright and clean. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom spotless.
When being offered milk for the room I asked for trim milk but was told it wasn't supplied - only full cream, so I had to go without a cup of tea. In the 21st century I would expect the hospitality industry to provide healthy options and be conscious of customer choice.
